World Health and Fitness Invercargill have a dedicated team of personal trainers, a vast range of rehab, cardio and strength equipment. We have an in-house Beauty Therapist and Sports Massage Therapist. The entire team have worked hard to provide a safe place available to all members of Invercargill’s community. We want every person who walks thru our doors to feel comfortable and happy to share their fitness journey with us.

World Health and Fitness is the only locally owned and operated 24/7 Gym in Invercargill. We were founded by passionate owners, Sid & Sharalyn Cumming (Golds Gym) and Doug & Sharyn Hayes (Worlds Gym). 30 years ago, these were the two leading gyms in Invercargill. Today, World Health and Fitness is still alive and kicking, stronger and better than ever!

Sid

Sid Cumming.

Gym Owner, Cycling NZ Coach.

Sid and Sharalyn have been owners in the gym industry for 30 years. You will usually find Sid riding a bike in the mornings, chatting with members, taking a spin class at night or maintaining the gym equipment. When Sid isn’t in the gym, he is working hard coaching for Cycling NZ.

Zane

Zane Harris.

Operations Manager/Massage Therapist.

Zane is our Jack of all trades. His main role is to look after the staff and ensure the gym is running smoothly. You might also find him training clients or maintaining equipment. Zane has also been a part of the World Health and Fitness crew for 15 years as the owner of Sportz Plus – our on-site Massage Therapy Clinic.

Sharyn

Sharyn Hayes.

Gym Owner, Administrator.

Sharyn and Doug have been owners in the gym industry for 30 years. You will usually find Sharyn popping in and out of the gym, ensuring the premises are clean and tidy for the members. Sharyn is also the other half of the admin team with her daughter Bex.

Bex

Bex Andrews.

Admin Assistant/Beauty Therapist.

Being Doug and Sharyn’s daughter, Bex has been a part of the World Health and Fitness family for almost 30 years. Bex main role is to work hard behind the scenes looking after all the accounts and membership payments. Bex also owns Wicked Pretty – our on-site Beauty Therapy clinic.
